30/07/2010I found this workshop to be very useful .. like i said before, there is different medicine for different symptoms. People management and relationship building is an art and with inputs from courses like these, one can certainly bring in fresh perspectives and improve. The 4 quadrants theory, belbin profiling, the participants including the "top gear" execs were all very interesting!!. Overall, i would term it as a very good experience. 29/07/2010I loved the course. I've done a few similar things before but liked the way you integrated it back to real world/work situations. Ralph, I found your presentation style engaging and entertaining and you used a good balance of you talking, letting the group talk and chipping in if we missed a key point. The group exercises were good, however it would have been good to mix the people up a bit more so we got to interact with new people. Content on time management and brain power excellent. - Stefan
29/07/2010Enjoyed the course, found it challenging, confronting, mind expanding. Interesting to see different team dynamics, found the practical sessions good - especially the faciliation and presentation sections. So many new things to digest - the call log, the quadrants - appreciating differences of people, summarising, feedback, communication channels and more. The atmosphere of the course was lively and we had to be on our toes. Also - nice catering. Would recommend course to others. - Richard

Good diverse group of participants, very practical and interactive and excellent delivery made the concepts easy to absorb. 27/07/2010The course is well structured to make understand the human behaviour and the impact of understanding the same on the succes in all the areas of life be it a professional life or personal life. Even there was nothing new which was told during the course but it have given new insight of how these things can impact you day to day life which I think is the major gain for me from this workshop. - Vilas

26/07/2010It was really an amazing workshop, believe me that I never know that the trainings programs can be structured so well addressing the real life problems. Especially learning on clients behaviour, Engagement and perception management was some of the most complex skills which I thought it will need life time of experience to learn but this 3 days of workshop really made it so simple and gave me more confidence..Kudos to John and Ros I really owe you a guys lot more besides a big thank you. - Srikanth

I still have the little booklet on my desktop and from time to time i browse it to recall some of the points you provided during the course. And by consciously putting some into practice, i get better feedback from the people i get in contact with in a surprisingly short time. I seem to be especially proficient at building rapport by going out for drinks :). - Alexandru
05/07/2010Overall a very valuable course with some great take-aways! I did enjoy the more theoretical components and actually wanted more content in that area. I felt a bit too much time was spent on the presentations which almost every such course includes - I would have preferred more time allocated to the role plays (interviews, facilitation) which is done less frequently in other professional development courses! Well done, I would gladly recommend this to other colleagues! - Sascha

02/07/2010The contents of the course was very good. The solid mix of theory and practical activities delivered an engageing course. The only improvement I could see is a final 30 min or so to sit down and come up with the key 3 things they they wish to implement into their job and to then discuss them with their group. - Tim
27/06/2010 Before participating in the workshop I had many questions and few answers. Which are the key skills a consultant should have? What can I improve? What techniques can I use? After the 3 days training I could really put my finger on these issues. It was a great opportunity to gain ready to use information, to experiment and get precious feedback, learn tips & tricks I can apply in my field. Now, two years later, I can really appreciate the positive influence the workshop has had on my work. - Mirela

15/06/2010I am overwhelmed by the on-going generousity of John & his team in their hands-on support of CanTeen and our work. The courses delivered last week to our staff team were informative, interesting and immensely practical. In giving up his time to come and share his skills and experience, John has made a very real difference to the work we do with young people living with cancer. 10/06/2010I was slightly apprehensive about attending the course despite colleagues telling me how much they enjoyed it-of course I was pleasantly surprised! I immediately felt at ease thanx to Bill & Ralph & the content & delivery were excellent! I’ve learned many useful tips & am looking forward to the challenge & subsequent rewards from applying this knowledge to my work and personal life;& to changing behaviours to improve my communication & also market my skills more effectively. 09/06/2010The workshop was excellent. I think this course should be rolled out to a wide POST audience, especially some of my colleagues in the IT Operations space (based at Rosslyn St). The only thing I would have changed would be to mix up the seating arrangements each day so participants could spend time with each of other participants. Other than that minor issue I was very happy with the contents of the Workshop and how both Ralph and Bill ran the sessions - Dean

07/06/2010I found some of the activities to be useful; particularly the engagement topic and looking at engagement with different personalities and behaviour types. The presenters were professional for the most part; some of the humour used was a bit inappropriate at times. I liked how there was a lot of participation and interaction; this approach suited my learning style. I did feel that 3 days was a long time; perhaps too long. - Michael
04/06/2010Course was well structure and timed. I would not say the content was revolutionary but it was all certianly very engaging. Many of the lessons sevred as a great reminder for our we should go about business. The workshop was well facilitated and even the potentially very "hit & miss" activity of roll playing was managed in a way that allowed the benefits to far outway any kind of awkwardness. 03/06/2010It was a brilliant workshop. One of the best I have ever attended! Ralf our presenter was excellent and so was Ros our facilitator. Ralf ensured everyone participated and delivered the workshop in positive and humourous manner I conclude with something that has stuck with me from the workshop. 03/06/2010I had a fabulous time... learning was easy as the workshop, Ralf and Ros were, fun, interactive, engaging and informative. My expectations were meet, there was new learnings and tweaking of old techniques. I particularly enjoyed the facilitating section and Belpin report. Not only the workshop and learning mor about myself and how to deal with situations - also the to see how Ralph facilitaes the workshop and learning from him. 22/04/2010This workshop was a highly valuable expereience. The skills imparted by the moderators, though directed at the workplace, were applicable to all aspects of everyday life. Most notably, the skills suggested for effective communciation are invaluable tools for consultants. More broadly, through content, practical secnarios and role-play, the workshop clarified how to use one's skills set, uptake and apply new skills, and use these skills for best result for oneself and one's business. - Jodi

29/03/2010I thoroughly enjoyed the course. The content was interesting and relevant. The course was interactive throughout, giving all particpants a chance to challenge and develop themselves. Faciliation was well conducted. Having worked for a few big charter/consulting firms, I did undertake quite a bit of training within these organisations. This course not only compares, but exceeds the value provided. - Nella

That theory will give me added confidence in communicating with others and insure that I cater for all different audiences. 18/01/2010Great course. The facilitators kept us engaged and its probably about the only course I have not zoned out(or dozed off in). What I have learned I can put into practice at work and pass the information along to my teenagers to give them a head start. Looking back on this I wish I had done this course years ago. Hopefully my kids can use the knowledge to get a jump on everyone else their age. - Paul

16/12/2009No score 5/5 given we ran out of time on a couple of items and did not have a group / team lunch! It would be good to do presenting in front of video camera and playback. Overall, great experience - suggest bringing in analogy of birds - Eagle, Owl, Peacock, Dove - as seeding discussion on personality preferences. Using compass / spherical localities a bit confusing. - andy
